Thelab is one of the key labs in the horticultural plants biology and germplasmenhancement disciplinary group approved and established by the Ministry ofAgriculture in 2011. The lab members consist of 30 professors, 8 associatedprofessors and 6 lecturers from the disciplines of pomology and olericulture inthe College of Horticulture. The main research fields are: Subtropical fruitsgermplasm enhancement and utilization, South China vegetables germplasmenhancement and developmental biology, Subtropical fruits developmental biology,and South China subtropical fruits and vegetables products postharvest biologyand preservation technology.
