In the midsummer of July, Guangdong lychees are coming to an end, and the grapes have just matured. On July 9, Secretary Zhang Yifa, Deputy Dean Wu Zhenxian, Professor Huang Xuming and Deputy Dean Ouyang Jun of the School of Horticulture went to Ma'an Town, Huizhou City to participate in the vineyard held by Huizhou Shennong Lanxianggu Ecological Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd. Opening ceremony of the park. At the ceremony, Secretary Zhang, on behalf of the college, awarded the company the plaque of Practical Teaching Base of the College of Horticulture, South China Agricultural University, which together witnessed the completion of another excellent practical teaching platform in our college.

Huizhou Shennong Lanxianggu Ecological Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2018. The vineyard covers an area of more than 300 acres. The garden is built according to high standards, and the soil is improved with great efforts. Refined flower and fruit management, quality first. Fully put into production this year, the H-shaped flat frame in the garden, the ears are neatly arranged, the ears are well-proportioned, the grains are large and uniform, the sweet and crispy, the first-class quality, which reflects the high technical level of production and demonstrates strong technical strength. Fresh grapes are picked in the garden and sold directly by order. The quality is high and the price is high. Consumers are rushing to produce and sell. At present, the output value per mu is more than 200,000 yuan.

The company and our institute signed a talent cooperation agreement on April 22 this year, incorporating this high-standard, multi-functional vineyard into the construction of our institute's practice teaching base. This will further strengthen the scientific research and talent training cooperation between our institute and the company, build a school-enterprise collaborative education mechanism, form a production, study, research and use talent training model, and promote the improvement of the quality of horticultural talent training.
