During this trip to Meizhou to carry out special activities on party history learning and education, the College of Horticulture also went to the Hakka Museum of Guangdong Province, the Patriotic Education Base of Guangdong Province, the Party History Learning and Education Base of Jiaying College, and the Sanheba Battle Memorial Park for party history learning.

The Hakka Museum of China comprehensively displays the origin and development of Hakka culture. In addition, it also uses ancient buildings to set up unique university presidential halls, general halls, and overseas Chinese halls to commemorate specific prominent figures. The Party History Learning and Education Base of Jiaying College is jointly built by the Marxist School of Jiaying College and the local government to deepen the school’s efforts. Through the exploration of Meizhou’s red education resources, the local red tradition and red genes are displayed, so that teachers and students can be educated. The coverage is wider and the scope is larger. Yang Zhou, the president of Jiaying University, the responsible comrades of the School of Life Sciences of Jiaying University, and the School of Marxism participated in this learning activity. 

The Battle of Sanheba reignited the revolutionary fire in eastern Guangdong after the failure of the Great Revolution, which enabled the revolution in this region to flourish and later became a part of the Central Soviet Area.
