On September 17, Zhang Yifa, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Horticulture, gave a lecture on the “First Lesson of Ideology and Politics” for the fall semester of 2021 in the 101C conference room of the College of Horticulture for the representatives of undergraduates and graduate students of the College and the backbone of the publicity departments of various student organizations. The theme of “telling the story of party history in the mobile Internet era” is the theme to explain in detail the moral cultivation and legal awareness that contemporary college students should have under the background of the mobile Internet era.

Secretary Zhang Yifa gave an explanation on General Secretary Xi’s Nine Discussions on the Internet and other content, starting from the international situation in the new era, taking the network environment from 2007 to 2017 as an example, spreading the traditional media and the new media in the mobile Internet era. The media, communication strategies, and communication discourse are compared, emphasizing that the rise of information technology puts forward higher requirements for the storytelling of party history, and makes students fully aware of the diversification of information brought about by the development of science and technology, and hopes that students will pay more attention to network culture , In-depth study of the law of communication of mobile Internet, dialectical application of mobile Internet communication methods in the study of party history stories, and correct party history learning through online media.

In addition, Secretary Zhang Yifa took the network environment from 2007 to 2017 as an example, detailed the development of campus new media, and described some cases of online public opinion in universities in Guangdong. Secretary Zhang described the current development trend of new media as all the time and pervasive. He compared the traditional media propaganda with the new media propaganda in the mobile Internet era, and emphasized that students need to pay attention to online propaganda work and achieve simultaneous push on multiple platforms. 

Finally, Secretary Zhang Yifa put forward several suggestions to the students: First, don't indulge in the Internet, especially online games. The Internet can connect us to the world and isolate us from real life; the second is to learn to integrate fragmented information on the Internet, to improve discrimination, to cultivate professionalism, to avoid catching the eye, and not to spread false information; the third is to be cautious when speaking on the Internet. Spread more positive energy and cannot step on the red line of the law; fourth, in the era of new media, more consideration should be given to personal career development from the perspective of new media.
