The Double Ninth Festival is a traditional festival to respect and respect the elderly. In order to cherish the memory of our school’s sages in agriculture, to inspire students to comprehend Ding Ying’s spirit, and bravely shoulder the mission of the times, on October 16, our school’s agriculture, gardening, resources and environment, forestry, biotechnology Jointly carried out the memory of the ancestors of our school with the Plant Protection College, and the deputy secretaries of the party committees, counselors and student representatives of the colleges participated in the activities.

At 9 o'clock in the morning on the 16th, all the teachers and students gathered in front of the portrait of Ding Ying of the Agricultural College to study the advanced deeds of Academician Ding Ying, comprehend Ding Ying's spirit, and inspire teachers and students to fulfill their original mission.

Afterwards, all the teachers and students bowed to the statue of Academician Ding Ying three times with great respect, and presented flowers to the statue of Academician Ding Ying. Finally, in the passionate school song, each college went to other statues of sages to carry out memorial activities.

In front of the statue of Teacher Li Peiwen in the square on the first floor of our college building, Ma Qiang, the deputy secretary of the party committee of our college, vividly introduced the life deeds of the pioneer of gardening teacher Li Peiwen and his contribution to the development of horticulture, combined with the academic achievements and nobleness of Li Peiwen. Quality inspires students to establish lofty ideals in the horticulture major, continue to innovate, and bravely shoulder the mission of the times.

In the end, all the teachers and students of our school bowed to the statue of Li Peiwen three times with deep respect, and presented flowers to the statue one by one. The event ended successfully.
