On the afternoon of November 25th, under the leadership of the counselor Liu Zhipeng of the College of Horticulture and the counselor Chen Wei of the Food College, 11 students from the Yuanzi All-Media Studio of the College of Horticulture The students from the Ministry of Engineering, Science and Technology Media Center and the New Media Studio of the Food College went to Pazhou, Guangzhou to visit the 2021 China Online Media Forum exhibition.

The China Internet Media Forum was co-sponsored by the Central Cyberspace Administration of China, China Central Radio and Television and the Guangdong Provincial Committee of Cyberspace Affairs, with the theme of Development and Order: Letting Mass Flows Surging Positive Energy. It will be held from November 24 to 26. Day was held at the exhibition hall in Area B of the Canton Fair in Pazhou, Guangzhou.

 After arriving at the exhibition venue that day, the students visited and studied separately. At the exhibition, we saw the future of new media: AI sign language anchors, 8k ultra-high-definition broadcast vehicles, intelligent collection robots, free-view technology, etc. The power of technology will also make life better.

When I came to the exhibition hall of China Central Radio and Television Station, the miniature model of 8k OB truck was brought into view. The delicate and clear picture makes it a bright Chinese red for the Tokyo Olympics. And the digital virtual editor Xiao C of CCTV network will also make a report for us at the Winter Olympics.

Entering the Huawei exhibition hall, a camera hall based on AI technology attracted everyone's footsteps. After selecting a scene, take, upload, cloud-compute and synthesize the oil painting photos, and finally print them. Even if the surrounding environment is noisy, the captured portraits and selected scenes can be perfectly integrated. The students present felt novel about such black technology. In Tencent's exhibition area, the staff is manipulating a real mine truck 2,000 kilometers away. The immersive ultra-long-distance driving experience makes automatic driving and safe operation a reality.

At this exhibition, new technologies, new applications, and new formats have been unveiled. From here, we have also seen the future of media. Technology is constantly advancing, and technology is constantly changing our lives. The students also gained a lot from this practice. They not only consolidated their own working technical foundation, opened up the creative vision of new media career, but also showed the demeanor of horticultural students.
