On May 11, the 2022 Agriculture, Forestry and Biological Recruitment Fair of South China Agricultural University was held at the Huashan Student Activity Center. This job fair is hosted by the Student Work Department of the Party Committee (Party Committee Graduate Work Department) of South China Agricultural University, and undertaken by the School of Forestry and Landscape Architecture, the School of Agriculture, the School of Plant Protection, the School of Horticulture, the School of Resources and Environment, and the School of Life Sciences.

Deng Guoan, deputy secretary of the school party committee, Zhao Feng, director of the student work department of the party committee (the postgraduate work department of the party committee), and the party and government leadership of the School of Horticulture visited the venue for guidance and cordially communicated with employers and graduates. They welcomed and thanked the company representatives for their arrival, and encouraged the students present to learn more and strive to find satisfactory positions.

This year's special job fair attracted nearly 100 employers, covering landscape design, biomedicine, product testing and other fields, providing more than 3,000 jobs for fresh graduates majoring in agriculture and biology in our school.

In response to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, the school epidemic prevention and control team stipulates that in principle, no more than two people will be recruited by employers. They must enter the campus with a 48-hour negative nucleic acid result. In addition, epidemic prevention checkpoints such as temperature detection, health code and itinerary code were also set up on the site to ensure the safe and smooth development of this job fair.

The job fair scene was orderly and crowded. Each employer actively posted the company's basic situation, publicity materials, job requirements and other information, and distributed company brochures to the students who came to the job fair to introduce the company's situation and job requirements enthusiastically. Graduates of each college have also carefully prepared resumes and other application materials, and fully communicated with employers to understand the general situation, composition, future development direction, personnel needs and other information of the corresponding units, in order to find suitable positions in this job fair.

This job fair builds a communication platform for graduates and employers to promote the progress of our school's graduate employment. Through this job fair, the students majoring in agriculture and biology in our school have a more intuitive understanding of the current job market environment and access to more real employment information, so as to adjust the employment mentality for the graduating students in a timely manner, so as to provide the best employment opportunities. Status plays a positive role in meeting new challenges in life.
